Simpson Marine, Asia-Pacific’s leading yacht sales and services company, is delighted to announce its appointment as the sole official dealer for Axopar Boats in Hong Kong and Mainland China. Building on the recent announcement as Axopar’s official dealer in Indonesia, this strategic move represents a significant step forward in an ongoing expansion across North Asia.
As the company’s headquarters for the past 40 years, Hong Kong is the yachting hub of Asia with the longest coastline of any global city accounting for 465km with 263 islands. Hong Kong is also Simpson Marine’s historically best-performing market with a total of 13,000 pleasure boats registered in the city with 8 marinas and 46 Typhoon shelters providing berthing to the city’s yacht fleet. The appeal of Axopar’s range of adventure boats from 22-45ft with multiple layouts which are ideally suited to the use of boaters in Hong Kong and China is evident. Axopar has become the market leader in this segment with the brand’s core values including the highest built quality, easy maintenance and operations, extensive exterior deck with fold down side balconies (in specific range), high speeds with low fuel consumption and the soon to be introduced new electric models underway.
Similar to Hong Kong, since 2008, Simpson Marine has been dedicated to providing personalised service and support to local yachting enthusiasts through its Shenzhen office and later expanded to Sanya with a dedicated sales and service team in Mainland China. Over the years, a significant number of yachts have been delivered to many coastal areas of China. This new role as Axopar’s sole dealer enhances the company’s position as a major key player in the luxury yacht industry with a range of products spanning all budgets and lifestyles.
Axopar Boats, a renowned Finnish adventure yacht brand celebrating 10 years of operations in 2024, targets the rising interest in leisure boating in Hong Kong and China, a cross-border market with tremendous potential and facilities in place.
