Simpson Marine Becomes Corporate Supporter of M+, Enhancing Customer Experience Through Artistic Engagement

Simpson Marine and its Sanlorenzo Asia-Pacific division are proud to become the first yachting company to support M+ as a Corporate Supporter. This initiative amplifies Simpson Marine’s continued dedication to the world of arts and creativity, building on its successful three-year partnership with the Hong Kong Ballet and now broadening its support to the major highlight of Asia’s art scene, M+.

M+ emerges as Asia’s global museum of contemporary visual culture in the West Kowloon Cultural District (WestK) of Hong Kong. The museum stages exceptional exhibitions and holds collections of visual art, design and architecture, moving image and Hong Kong visual culture. Situated at the southern tip of Kowloon overlooking Victoria Harbour, the museum building is designed by the acclaimed architectural firm Herzog & de Meuron in partnership with TFP Farrells and Arup. It stands as one of Hong Kong’s most distinguished landmarks.

Meanwhile, the recent integration of Simpson Marine into the Sanlorenzo Group heralds enhanced commitment to the world of arts. This strategic development enhances the company’s involvement with the artistic sector, mirroring Sanlorenzo’s strategic connection with art and design, crowned by the creation of a dedicated department and committee under Sanlorenzo Arts and the establishment of Casa Sanlorenzo in Venice. The synergy between yachting and artistic expression is poised to elevate the customer experience and strengthen brand association.

Ewa Stachurska, Vice President of Marketing, Strategic Partnerships and Business Development at Simpson Marine, captures the essence of this initiative: “We are delighted to announce our support of the museum, as we have been long exploring the strategic tie-up with M+ right back to when it first opened. The museum is a spectacular piece of architecture itself and is located in a newly redeveloped area of the city that will soon be very accessible also by boat. This represents a notable benefit to our customers who are usually fans of arts and appreciate the rich cultural agenda and beautifully curated exhibitions and displays, public programmes and events. Supporting M+ is also a testament to our belief in the transformative power of art, and together with the team, we are dedicated to integrating this passion into the exclusive experiences we strive to provide to our yacht owners and customers.
