Simpson Marine Continues Partnership with Amanda Wei Gallery with ‘Art Talk’ by Alixe Fu, an Event in Chatham Maison

Simpson Marine was delighted to recently partner with Amanda Wei Gallery once again for an exclusive art evert, ‘Art Talk’ with Alixe Fu, Taiwan born expressionist painter and sculptor. The event was held on 1 December 2022 at Chatham Maison, which is an elegant art research and exchange centre in Hong Kong.

It is an honour for Simpson Marine to work with Amanda Wei Gallery to share and create extraordinary art experiences, linking our yachts with the art world and aligning with our dedication to showing artistic and design-inspired collaborations that express the beauty of yacht creations to our clients. Amanda Wei Gallery team is devoted to promoting modern and contemporary artists that represent culture and humanity.

Alixe Fu’s sculptures combine Chinese traditional art and 20th century European artistic styles, developing a unique creation and appearance. Fu’s oil paintings have an automatic technique that creates an environmental image, presenting personal emotions and emotional upheavals. Abundant colours and characters on canvas have a discernible facial feature overlapped with style bringing forth a playful manner.
