The South Taiwan ARGO Boat Show 2025, held from 29 to 30 March, was a resounding success, showcasing the latest in luxury yachting. Among the highlights was the presentation of the Sanlorenzo SX88 by Simpson Marine Taiwan Team.
Premiered last year at the Taiwan International Boat Show 2024, the Sanlorenzo SX88 is a 26.82-metre motor yacht that stands out for its innovative design and advanced features. It boasts a top speed of 23 knots and a cruising speed of 21 knots, powered by three Volvo Penta diesel engines. The yacht can accommodate up to eight guests in four staterooms, with four crew members ensuring a premium experience
One of the most striking features of the SX88 is its open-plan living space, which offers a seamless flow from stern to bow throughout the main deck. This design includes a grand saloon, a state-of-the-art dining area, and open social spaces on the flybridge, making it ideal for gatherings and leisure cruises. The SX88 also features a wide beach club at the stern, perfect for hosting large water toys, tenders, and enhancing sea exploration. The SX88’s design is particularly well-suited for yachting in Taiwan.
The island’s picturesque coastline and favourable sailing conditions make it an ideal location for both novice and experienced sailors. Popular yachting destinations include the Penghu Islands, known for their crystal-clear waters and vibrant marine life, and the rugged eastern coast, offering dramatic landscapes and secluded bays.
