Simpson Marine was thrilled to support and assist SPLASH relay swim, which was an amazing all-women’s relay 45 km swim around Hong Kong island. This event took place on 15 November and promoted the concept of “Water for Wellbeing“.
Their goal was to raise HK$888,000 to support Splash Foundation Limited, Hong Kong’s only non-profit organisation teaching kids and adults from under-resourced communities to swim and encouraging empowerment through swimming.
The swimmers, six inspiring women including current and former Hong Kong Olympians, were captained by Camille Cheng, HK Olympian and Mental Health Champion.
The Simpson Marine team supported the swim with a safety boat, Aquila Power Catamarans Aquila 28 Molokai with Richard, Dawn, Ewa, Nick and Tom attending and following the swimmers during their record setting 10:59:55 swim.
Well done ladies and all the SPLASH team for this inspiring achievement and your generous support to the community!
