We are extremely proud to have supported Splash Foundation and their action of 360SwimHK with Simon Holliday, a famed English Channel swimmer who swam solo and non-stop around Hong Kong Island on 11 November in just 12hrs35min, much faster than originally anticipated (13-18 hrs). The challenge aimed to raise awareness for the Splash Foundation swimming course, an on-the-water safety programme for unprivileged children and domestic helpers in Hong Kong. Throughout months of fund raising and various activities, over 1,000,000 HKD was raised and will contribute to teaching 5000 kids and domestic helpers before 2020. Simpson Marine and many colleagues privately supported the cause with donations and by assisting Simon’s 11 November swim with our Monte Carlo 6, hosting Splash Foundation members and young swimmers as well. Well done to Simon and the Splash Foundation. We are looking forward to see more children enjoying our beaches and seas in safety, after their SPLASH courses. Giving is great.
