Hainan Rendezvous – the China market evolves towards smaller boats and sailing

The 8^th edition of the Hainan Visun Rendezvous was a successful one for Simpson Marine and our brands with two beautiful hospitality areas for Sanlorenzo and Beneteau Group with a dock full of great yachts to visit and sea trial. On display were Swift Trawler 44 as HRDV Premiere, Barracuda 9, Monte Carlo 6, Monte Carlo Yachts 70, Oceanis 45, Oceanis 55 and a Lagoon 450. Beneteau Group held a kick off media conference on the first day, presenting news and developments of the Group since the boat shows in Autumn. Special mention was given to new models such as the Oceanis 51.1, Lagoon 40, Lagoon 50 and the MCY96. Sanlorenzo’s lounge was located right next to the VIP entrance in the Exclusive area together with Royce Rolls, Chow Tai Fook, Hublot and Henessy. We welcomed several prospective Sanlorenzo clients and our existing owners. On the first afternoon of the show, we invited media for an Afternoon Tea where Luigi Adamo, Sanlorenzo Sales Director for Yacht Division, and Nick Stratton, Sanlorenzo Sales APAC Manager at Simpson Marine presented the company with its values and gave a special focus to the new revolution – SX88 and the superyacht 52Steel, one of the top superyacht launches this year.
