Meng & Lagoon 46 – Living aboard and fishing in Sanya

Mr Meng, the owner of a Lagoon 46, is a nature lover who truly appreciates the depth of nature’s peacefulness and the beauty of it. A boat perfectly complements his love of outdoor sports, such as diving, fishing, driving, caravanning and motor boating. Meng lives on the boat almost all of the time in Sanya and loves the feeling of being on the sea.

Meng first started boating in 2008. At the beginning of his yachting journey, he bought two sports boats and often fished and dove offshore for leisure. In 2013 he came across Lagoon Catamarans and was attracted to their performance and the comfort that came with their spacious living areas. A Lagoon is now his home on the water, and he hopes that more of his friends who love sailing will come along to experience this incredible lifestyle and, together, help with marine conservation. For now, he is sailing around Sanya and Hainan and enjoying the beauty of the island from his floating home.
