Thailand Yacht Show concludes with sale of Lagoon 42

Located at Ao Po Grand Marina in Phuket, the 2^nd annual Thailand Yacht Show was held from 15 to 18 December 2016.  The Thailand Yacht Show has been created to drive the Prime Minister’s project to make Thailand a principal hub for yachting in Asia, and the winter destination of choice for superyacht owners and charterers from around the world. The Simpson Marine Thailand and Simpson Yacht Charter team were on hand to welcome visitors and share the joys of the yachting lifestyle.

On display were the Monte Carlo Yachts 70, Lagoon 42 and Beneteau Oceanis 41 – whether looking for a power or sailing yacht, there was a boat to suit all tastes. Phuket and the surrounding waters always generate strong interest in yacht charters, with the Lagoon 42 being a crowd favourite. As a result, the award winning yacht was sold to a Thai client at the show, less than a month after her arrival into Phuket.
