Beneteau To Premiere First Yacht 53 and Oceanis 30.1 along With 5 Other Sailing Yachts at Cannes Yachting Festival

Sailing lovers will be excited to hear that Beneteau will be displaying six sailing yachts at the Cannes Yachting Festival and one of the highlights is the official Premiere of the new First Yacht 53 alongside with the display of new Beneteau Oceanis 30.1 that was previously debuted at Dusseldorf Boat Show.

The new First Yacht 53 has a perfectly balanced hull under sail with impressive performance credentials. Designed by duo Roberto Biscontini and Lorenzo Argento, this new First Yacht 53 has successfully developed features from very high-performing yachts while remaining loyal to the First legacy. Incorporating several key minimalist features of modern yachting, the First Yacht 53 boasts a low coachroof, broad open stern, and clean cockpit. Her stylishness and speed are not the only appealing features as the First Yacht 53 is also equipped with excellent storage and details such as a tender garage, carbon rigging, lots of large spaces, a lounge area, teak mouldings and top-quality materials.

The Oceanis 30.1 is easy to sail but lively to helm and promises new experiences and thrills. This robust little smart cruiser is small enough to trail, opening up endless possibilities for sailing on lakes and rivers, while also being perfect coastal sailing and high sea adventures. Her stemhead and hard-chine hull with well-proportioned sides and a coachroof makes her looks like a small yacht, but still with ample spaces to enjoy. With her slender bow, optimised weight, stiff canvas and square-top mainsail, the Oceanis 30.1 is guaranteed to perform well in all aspects of sailing. Whether for beginners or short-handed sailing, the self-tailing jib and the single winch make her easy to handle. Performance-wise, the Oceanis 30.1 has a large overlapping genoa, a furling code zero and an asymmetric spinnaker. Aft, a step delivers easy access to the sea, with a small lifting platform ensuring added ease when getting in and out of the water.

The interiors of the Oceanis 30.1 boasts an impressive headspace of 1.98m in all places, making it comfortable to stand indoors. Two good-sized double cabins each have berths running lengthwise and an open entryway making them feel particularly spacious, while the two benches double as two extra berths. The large shower room is divided into a marine toilet on one side and shower and washbasin on the other. To top it off, the L-shaped galley has top and bottom storage with a 75 -litre refrigerator and a real oven under the gas hob. With such unbeatable living space for a yacht of this size and a focus on the simplicity of use, this Beneteau Oceanis 30.1 is an excellent addition to the market. She is stylish, fast and with a highly competitive ready-to-sail price she is set to be one of the most highly sought-after sailing yachts available.

These stunning, high-performance sailing yachts will sure to be the show favourites. Book in to visit the show with Simpson Marine team at beneteau@simpsonmarine.com.
