First Sanlorenzo SL90A in Asia Handed Over to Owners, Cruising in Hong Kong

Having arrived into Hong Kong in late March, Sanlorenzo’s new Asymmetric model – the SL90A – has been officially handed over to her owners and is already cruising around the territory’s numerous islands and bays.

A traditional Bai Sun ceremony began the official handover, bringing good fortune to the owners and paying respects to the Gods. The owners enjoyed a champagne toast and a tour of the yacht, proudly welcoming family and close friends on board.

The Sanlorenzo SL90A is a beautiful example of Sanlorenzo’s “made to measure” philosophy, with several customisations throughout.

Firstly, as with any Sanlorenzo yacht, this particular Sanlorenzo SL90A features a beautiful tailor-made interior design that was developed with the owners in conjunction with the shipyard’s expert interior design team. The interiors combine subtle tones of grey including cool grey, dark grey and graphite applied to ceilings, walls and marble tables and accessories with complimenting light tone sofas and coffee tables. The design is completed by wooden wall elements and a stunning expose glass staircase.

Thanks to its asymmetric layout, the yacht’s main deck is 10sqm bigger than on traditional 90ft yacht, and the benefits of this include increased spaciousness and comfort in the saloon and master cabin. The starboard side bulwark has been cut out and is electrically lowered down, enabling floor to ceiling windows and spectacular visibility outdoors.

A notable custom feature is an extensive dining table in the cockpit and a custom wet bar that is perfect for the service of light meals and drinks and snacks. Another major focal point is a full-size jacuzzi installed on the flybridge surrounded by extensive sun pads. An additional L-shaped bar is positioned right by the helm station, allowing the crew to deliver easy service. Other stand out spaces are the upper sun deck and bow lounge on the front with impressive lounging and resting areas – both have full shade options, with canopies that are quick and easy to install.

This new SL90A is an elegant, balanced vessel that impresses with its streamlined, clean silhouette and a huge number of living and leisure areas. She joins a growing fleet of Sanlorenzo’s Asymmetric yachts in Asia and will be joined by yet more vessels arriving this year, including another example of the SL90A.
