Simpson Marine Welcomes Guests at Hong Kong Ballet Private Studio Visit for ‘The Nutcracker’

As a Corporate Patron of Hong Kong Ballet (HKB), Simpson Marine was delighted to recently welcome our guests to a very special experience – ‘The Nutcracker’ Private Studio Visit. Debuting on 16 December 2022, ‘The Nutcracker’ is the highlight show of HKB, putting the ballet’s memorable characters together with the wonderous beauty of local flora and fauna, history, and traditions.

Having been welcomed by Septime Webre, Artistic Director of Hong Kong Ballet, our ballet-loving guests were very enthusiastic about the memorable and magical night. The event including witnessing the last rehearsal of the grand finale scene, meeting the dancers, and viewing the backstage rehearsal, before watching the actual Hong Kong ‘Nutcracker’ performance.

The week before this event saw another special event in collaboration with the HKB. Hong Kong Ballet Chief Ballet Master Louis Torres, together with four lead dancers from ‘The Nutcracker’, held a salon in Simpson Marine’s ‘Italian Garden at Sea’ experience. This event took place at the first Asia Sanlorenzo Owners Rendezvous, creating a prestigious and unique yachting experience for our premium clients.

In 2023, Simpson Marine will continuously work with HKB not only to promote the beauty of dance, but also to provide different points of view to appreciate the world of arts.
