Team Megazip Simpson Marine takes part in the Phuket Race Week 2018

We were delighted to support the 2018 Phuket Race Week, held on 18-22 July, where Nadia Lutsenko, our Russian broker based in Phuket, was racing in the only Russian team ‘Megazip Simpson Marine’ under the command of Aleksey Mashkin. The team was racing on a 39ft yacht in IRC I Class with an 11-person crew. The weather was perfect and the breeze strong off the East Coast of Phuket with strong breeze and winds reaching 25-30 knots and the yacht reaching 10+ knots maximum speed. It was a great fun event for all the teams, and a good lesson of teamwork and seamanship so well done to Nadia and all the crew! We are looking forward to the 16^th edition next year!
