Asia’s First Bluegame BGX70 Arrives in Hong Kong

We are thrilled to welcome Asia’s first Bluegame BGX70, which arrived in Hong Kong mid-November and is already making waves. As stated by her conceiver Luca Santella, the BGX Line brings the outside inside in a truly unique way that is unseen on any other yacht of her size.

The BGX70 represents a new disruptive concept of total interconnectivity between inside and out, and a seamless life at sea with her impressive stern platform and directly connected interior lounge. As a proud part of the Sanlorenzo Group all Bluegame Yachts have innovation and sustainability as their common driver and the BGX70 is no exception. The “unexpected” innovations include the unique and sophisticated external design, and the model’s original layout – never seen before in a 70ft yacht – which perfectly combines shape and function. Her now iconic reversed windshield was previously found only on war ships and tug boats and is now becoming a new trend in the industry started by Sanlorenzo’s SX line and Bluegame Yachts.

In addition, the special design of the hull shape has been tailored to perform in heavy conditions. Unique advantages and comfort features that will please the owners (and crews!) are very safe walk-around and well-conceived mooring areas, and a new approach to engine room layout and disposition enabling the yacht’s innovative interconnected layout with only one hatch for easy access to every apparatus on board. This unique layout also demonstrates the close attention to the optimum life on board for owners, with two thirds of the space able to convert to a private owners space – the only boat on the market with this opportunity.

Sustainability is strongly present and a priority in the brand’s DNA with features including: 100% recyclable moulds for some parts, a Volvo IPS system, refinement of hull lines for efficient performance, insulation of glass in the coach roof and more.
