The First 40 from renowned French sailboat builder Beneteau is a winner, both on and off the racecourse. The sporty sailboat has won mutliple awards for her build, and she is also recognised for achievements in IRC racing. Design comes from some of the best yacht designers in the world, with Farr Yacht Design providing naval architecture and Italy’s Nauta Design styling the interior.
The saloon is highly flexible, with a high-low table that can lift up when enjoying a meal or lower down when storing sails during racing. This area also converts to a berth, increasing the accommodation on board. There are three private cabins with a double cabin forward and two symmetrical cabins aft.
Offered in the First 40 Carbon Edition, this boat is ready to hit the racecourse. The Carbon Edition boasts a carbon mast, lead keel, tilting steering wheel and Raymarine electronics customised to regatta racing. The retractable carbon bowsprit aids in the use of the asymmetrical spinnaker sail.
