Q: What keeps you motivated and driven?
A: I am someone who is highly motivated and driven by success in my work.

Q: Who has been the biggest influence on you in your work and/or personal life?
A: My family: my husband and my two daughters

Q: What are some values you live by?
A: Growth, kindness, and appreciation

Q: What do you hope to achieve in your work?
A: I hope to see more co-operation, respect and professionalism displayed in the yachting industry.

Q: What is your idea of success in the yachting industry?
A: Recognition and cooperation with like-minded players within the industry

Q: What is one piece of advice would you give to aspiring women who are keen to join this industry?
A: As cliché as it might sound, I am a firm believer of “work hard, play hard.”

Q: How did you get involved in the yachting industry?
A: I held a position in a wine company that expanded into the Yacht Charter business, and I was tasked with spearheading that expansion – that’s how I started on my first yacht charter experience.

Q: What is one change you would like to see in this industry?
A: The vibrancy of Hong Kong yachting scene is one of the key appeals in Asia. Having a dedicated Yacht Charter Association in Hong Kong would be a great positive change to this yachting industry and to our Hong Kong economy.

Q: What would you say is your biggest achievement in your career with Simpson Marine so far?
A: A Simpson Yacht Charter 10-month contract deal.

Q: What inspires you within what is undoubtedly a male-dominated industry?
A: Enjoyment of what I do. I love sharing and talking about yachting experiences with our Simpson Yacht Charter clients.

Q: What is your first memory of yachting?
A: My first overnight yacht charter trip in Phuket.

Q: What is a must-do on a yacht for you?
A: Relaxing with a glass of Champagne.

Q: Describe your perfect day on a yacht.
A: Sailing out on a Lagoon Catamaran with my family without any phone distractions. I think finding a job that you love and enjoying what you do every day is not that easy, so I am grateful I found one!
