Beneteau unveils new Gran Turismo 40 and 46 at Nautic de Paris

Elegance, quality fittings, top-level finish and sensations guaranteed. The new Gran Turismo range developed by Beneteau is full of surprises.

The GT 46, the latest addition to this recently-launched range, made its first appearance at the Nautic de Paris in December last year. It is the second model in this new generation of Beneteau-designed Sports Cruisers, and although similar in style and spirit to the GT 40, it represents a significant step forwards in terms of customisation, quality of materials and finish. Despite being resolutely sporty in character, it is also designed to ensure high levels of safety combined with a sumptuous décor.

The GT 46 hard top has electrically-powered side glazing which allow you to enjoy the “open” feeling. The cockpit seats are spread out in this configuration, giving you plenty of space to enjoy time together.

The GT 46 incorporates the latest generation Beneteau-designed Air Step®2 planing hull, and for the first time offers a choice of a Volvo IPS 600 motor or a Z Drive, with power of up to 2 x 400 HP. Safe, easily maneuverable and with its sporting characteristics, this new unit promises to provide the maximum in sailing pleasure.

Apart from GT46, her sister ship GT 40 designed by well-known designers Nuvolari and Lenard was also displayed in the show.

The layout of GT40’s lower deck provides a feeling of space that has never been seen before on a boat of this size. Facing the spacious convertible saloon with large hull windows, a proper fully fitted kitchen galley complements the deck kitchen.

GT40 has been nominated for the European Powerboat of the Year 2016, a prestigious prize awarded by the Düsseldorf Boot.
