First in Asia Oceanis 46.1 Sold to China, and awarded European Sailing Yacht of the Year!

We are delighted to announce that the first slot for the brand new Beneteau Oceanis 46.1 has been sold by our China team. This stunning yacht is due to arrive in Hong Kong in July, so be ready to schedule your viewings with your Simpson Marine broker.

The Oceanis 46.1 is based on a Finot-Conq plan, keeping the distinctive stepped hull of her big sister the 51.1 (which will arrive in Hong Kong in early February). Apart from her impressive performance at sea and the huge amount of space that sets this boat apart, her clever design makes optimal use of the cockpit beam. An incredibly efficient deck plan makes her extremely safe and easy to use. The furling mast, self-tailing jib and all the halyards and sheets brought back to a single winch at each of the helm stations, make manoeuvring simple when undertaking short-handed sailing.

Large hull portholes bring a considerable amount of natural light right into the centre of the boat, so that you can truly enjoy the elegant interiors by Nauta Design. A choice of light brushed oak or mahogany set the tone and create the interior atmosphere, which can be readily customised.

The first hull sold in Asia is a Comfort Cruiser version, chosen from the three initial versions offered by Beneteau for easier selection: Comfort, Fast and Smart, with a wide array of options and finishes available for every owner. This is what we call avant-garde in yachting!

A fresh recognition coming directly from the ongoing Dusseldorf Boat Show 2019 names the Oceanis 46.1 as Best Sailing Yacht of the Year in “Family Cruiser” category! Well done to Beneteau for their new line of the Oceanis yachts.
