First Monte Carlo Yachts 86 Sold in China

We are delighted to announce the sale of the first Monte Carlo Yachts 86 into China, due to arrive into Southern China in early Summer 2019. This beautiful yacht has been enjoying a lot of success around Asia, with MCY 86s already located in Singapore and Thailand.

The Monte Carlo Yachts 86 offers a vast amount of onboard space, thanks to its huge internal and external volumes. The model is also the first in the range with outdoor folding balconies – these provide an excellent saloon extension and added visibility, making a perfect feature for enjoying when at anchor in a beautiful bay. One glance at the forward and aft companionways leading down from the saloon, and it is clear that the 86’s accommodation is a little different from most motoryachts this size. In fact, there are no fewer than five alternative lower-deck layouts available, offering three, four, or five cabins. The most indulgent version has a truly outstanding master suite amidships that fully occupies half of the entire lower deck area, with a twin and a double en suite aft.

Making good use of interior volume is vital, but another way to accentuate the size of a yacht is to exploit the on-deck spaces, and this is another area where the 86 shines. The flybridge is 40ft long, with a hot tub, sun-lounger space, sofas, and a bar, and can be sheltered by a carbon T-top complete with giant sunroof. The cockpit spreads out to the bulwarks on each side, with a beam of nearly 20 feet.

The foredeck seating is another alluring feature with the famous MCY “bow lounge,” one of the highlights of the brand. How this remarkably stylish and comfortable area is integrated into the rest of the boat is one of the key design features of the 86. Safe side decks lead forward to a secure Portuguese bridge, which in turn leads you around the wheelhouse and into a recessed section of foredeck, flanked by curved sofas and sheltered by a simple but elegant sunshade rigged on four carbon poles. This space is comfortable, spacious, private, and offers excellent views… all you can ask for!
