Only 12 weeks to go until the Cannes Yachting Festival 2019 with 500+ yachts on display

The countdown is on to the annual Cannes Yachting Festival 2019, with just 12 weeks to go. One of the biggest events in the yachting calendar this is an unmissable event for stakeholders and enthusiasts of French and international yachting.

Held from 10 to 15 September 2019 in beautiful Cannes, the show stretches from one end of the Croisette to the other and throughout Vieux Port and Port Canto. While maintaining its identity and positioning, the year 2019 marks an evolution for the Yachting Festival, which will now revolve around Cannes’ two ports: the Vieux Port will continue to welcome the ultimate in motor boats while Port Canto will become the new showcase for the most beautiful sailing boats. The brokerage sector will remain based at Port Canto.

An incredible 529 in-water boats of 10-metres+ have already been confirmed for the show, including 119 sailing boats and 410 motor boats, representing a more than 7% increase compared to last year. The line-up is sure to be inspiring, and will include a number of global debuts and all the latest models and designs, making the show a must-do for anyone passionate about the world of yachting.

Numbers of exhibitors have also risen, with an 8% increase of exhibitors compared to 2018 and more set to come. “We still have a few places available at each port. We are also waiting for second-hand boat reservations, which always come later than new boats. Our sales team is finalising the implementation of round one hundred on-land boats. We are therefore very optimistic about the total number of participating French and international shipyards and the number of associated boats that we will have the pleasure of welcoming this year. The latter should exceed the previous record figure of 2018 by 8%, which will enable buyers and visitors to discover an unparalleled nautical offering in Cannes!” says Sylvie Ernoult, Director of the Yachting Festival. With such record-breaking figures, this highly anticipated yachting festival is definitely going to be massive!
