Cannes Yachting Festival will be the occasion for the official debut of the SX line with the new motoryacht SX88, which is 26.7m in length and the first crossover yacht model by Sanlorenzo. The new model in the SX line works alongside some of the most prestigious Italian architects and designers, choosing Piero Lissoni for the interior design of the SX88.

This collaboration lies on the great stylistic and creative resemblance which has immediately emerged between Piero Lissoni and Sanlorenzo: the timeless elegance of Sanlorenzo yachts and especially the simple language which characterises them has found an ideal interpreter in Piero Lissoni.

Hence the inspiration for the project “when we started to discuss ideas, I thought, why not make a project, in spite of it all, a simple one, with an ounce of elegance, inside a moving building. […] I keep picturing boats, even large ones, as if they were lofts, that is very open spaces, highly liveable, where above all it is possible to be in contact with the surrounding world, what is more natural than water, the sea and light?”, explains Piero Lissoni

The project for the exteriors of yacht SX88 was signed by nautical designer Officina Italiana Design.

SX88 represents a successful and clever evolution of classic flybridge motoryachts. She will be making her World Premiere during Cannes Yachting Festival in September and at the Genoa Boat Show few weeks later.
