With an Executive MBA from the prestigious ESCP Business School in Paris, since September 2023, Daniele has served as Sales Director of the Yacht Business Unit, leading commercial operations in the EMEA, APAC, NAFTA, and LATAM markets and overseeing the development of the sales and distribution network, making a significant contribution to Sanlorenzo’s international growth.
Daniele Lucà also brings to Simpson Marine over twenty years of experience in leadership roles within the energy transition and automotive sectors, with significant expertise in business development, strategic partnerships, and management of complex B2B and B2C operations.
Before joining Sanlorenzo, he served as Senior Vice President at SNAM S.p.A., where he managed strategic investments for the development of sustainable mobility, with a particular focus on hydrogen and biomethane. Previously, he was a member of the Board of Directors at Teoresi S.p.A. Additionally, he gained valuable experience at Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) as Business Development Director in the EMEA region, contributing to the group’s transition towards electric mobility and playing a key role in the merger with PSA, which led to the creation of Stellantis.
Mike Simpson is a pioneer of Asia’s yachting industry and has played a leading role in the growth of the yachting lifestyle across the region over the last 40 years.
He has accumulated an extensive network and knowledge of shipyards, manufacturers and yacht construction that is unparalleled in the Asia market and is now focused on driving our Superyacht Division with quite a few superyacht transactions in the region.
Considered as a key opinion leader in Asia, Mike is proactively acting on behalf of the local maritime community to liaise with governments and encourage them to provide more support to the industry with the construction of new marinas in the region and more sailing friendly regulations.
Mike is fluent in English, Chinese, French and German, his language skills refined through his many years spent cruising the Mediterranean, Caribbean, Atlantic and South China Sea.

Peter – a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, and Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants – has more than 30 years of experience in auditing, budgeting, financial planning and control, and cash flow management. Peter specialises in business process improvements and project management. Prior to joining Simpson Marine, Peter was the director and Chief Financial Officer, subsequently Chief Operating Officer, of a well-known water sports equipment group with vertical integration from manufacturing to retail operations. As a chartered accountant, Peter began his career at KPMG Peat Marwick and Deloitte where he gained experience in IPO and merger and acquisition. Peter joined Simpson Marine in late 2019.
Hailing from the UK, Nick Stratton was the brokerage manager at UK’s largest brokerage firm, Ancasta International Boat Sales for five years where he oversaw an office responsible for sales of more than 50 boats a year.
He received his professional training as a yacht broker at the Yacht Brokers, Designers and Surveyors Association (YBDSA), UK.
Nick moved to Singapore to join Simpson Marine in 2010 having recognised the tremendous growth potential for yachting in Asia. Young and dynamic, Nick has completed over 300 sales in his career and has a wealth of knowledge on buying, selling and running yachts in SEA/ APAC.
Nick has a passion to promote the yachting lifestyle in Asia and after 10 years in Singapore he relocated to Hong Kong where he can be found most weekends out on his own boat cruising around Sai Kung or the Southern Beaches.
Before being appointed Chief Sales Officer for Simpson Marine Group in 2024 crowning his 15 years with the business, Nick was contributing to the company’s success as the Sanlorenzo Sales Manager APAC and before that he was heading Singapore business as the Singapore Country Sales Manager.
Angel Zhou has been a cornerstone of Simpson Marine for over 15 years, her journey with the company has been marked by significant achievements and growth, leading to her recent promotion to Group Vice President.
As the former China General Manager, Angel has broad experience of yacht and superyacht sales, charter and management and has excellent knowledge of the issues involved in yacht importation into China, having also pioneered in the first yacht sales under the recently launched Hainan Free Trade Port Scheme allowing for tax free importation of foreign vessels into Hainan, a ground-breaking development within China.
Angel speaks fluent Mandarin, Cantonese and English and her many passions include water sports with diving, free diving, wake surfing. In addition, Angel is on an ongoing journey of expanding her expert knowledge in modern art and Buddhist philosophy.
Ewa brings 17 years’ experience in strategic and product Marketing (Sales and Branding), Strategic Partnerships and Business Development and a strong reputation amongst international industry members.
Her role concentrates on establishing and implementing Simpson Marine’s corporate communication across Asia and internationally and driving powerful marketing campaigns for Sanlorenzo, Bluegame and other brands in the portfolio and support the ongoing expansion of the brands and services portfolio (Superyachts, Charter, Yacht Management, Service, Toys & Tenders).
She is actively following all latest marketing trends tendencies and focuses on driving creative digital and social media campaigns.
During her first year at Simpson Marine she was working from the Shanghai office and in August 2016 she relocated to Hong Kong Headquarters. She is fluent in five languages – Polish, English, French, Spanish, Mandarin and can speak Italian, Portuguese and Japanese on a conversational level.
She is passionate by the planet’s blue treasure box and recently has taken on dinghy sailing and club racing.
She is also Board Member of the Hong Kong Boating Association in Hong Kong representing industry for Charter and proactively working in the Boat Show working group. Additionally, she volunteers as Role Model at Inspiring Girls Charity Organisation and is a Mentor in the 2023/24 Cohort at the Women’s Foundation Hong Kong.
Allen has risen to become Simpson Marine’s Head of Sales for Hong Kong, where he moved in early 2016 to start working for Asia’s largest yacht dealer. Born in London, he spent much of his childhood on the coast of Maine in the northeast United States, where he sailed dinghies and small keel boats, having inherited a love of boating from his father. After graduating from university, he held office jobs in various coastal cities around the United States, always keeping in touch with the ocean by using days off to enjoy sailing, fishing and powerboating. In Hong Kong, he continues to enjoy spending his weekends on the water, where he explores the territory from corner to corner on his Highfield RIB.
James Clayton’s journey in the yachting industry spans over two decades, during which he has earned a strong reputation for his dedication, knowledge, and passion for the sea. In recent years he has worked for Italian shipyard Benetti and US brokerage firm Merle Wood & Associates, both in Europe and in the USA. His impressive track record includes many successful superyacht sales and collaborations with some of the most reputed names in the yachting industry.
Notably, James has already sold several superyachts in the Asian region. His understanding of the region’s unique preferences and trends comes from having spent the first 15-years of his life in Malaysia and Singapore and positions him as a valuable asset to Simpson Superyachts as the company continues to strengthen its global footprint.
Having grown up in the marine industry, with his parents the distributors for major marine equipment brands, Kevin has extensive technical yachting knowledge. A degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Warwick only strengthened his theoretical understanding of the technical side of different yachting mechanisms. This knowledge is hugely beneficial to Simpson Marine’s customers as he can offer expert answers and solutions throughout every stage of their yacht ownership journey.
Having studied in the United Kingdom, and undertaken work experience in China, Kevin is fluent in Cantonese, Putonghua and English.
With over eight years working in the luxury industry, including the past two at Beneteau Group Asia Pacific. Zachary has deep understanding of customers’ diverse lifestyles and can expertly assist with their yacht ownership journey.
Growing up in Hong Kong and having worked overseas in France and Beijing for over eight year, he is fluent in four languages – Cantonese, Mandarin, English, and French.
He is passionate by nature and enjoys outdoors, spending time at his farm, rock climbing, gardening, surfing to scuba diving, and more. Zachary is a passionate, active and friendly broker who would be happy to introduce you the joys of the yachting lifestyle.
Born and raised in Hong Kong and fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese – Shirley gained three years of experience working in Simpson Marine’s Sanlorenzo department before transitioning into the sales team.
With her years of experience managing many new build projects under the Sanlorenzo brand, Shirley is well placed to support her demanding clients looking to both buy and sell their yachts. Having grown up by the sea, Shirley has a passion for all things nautical and her cheery character and professionalism make her a strong Simpson Marine team member.
May has over a decade of experience in the Hong Kong yachting industry. She started her career working on charter boats and has extensive knowledge of the luxury charter business in Hong Kong.

Marko is one of the most experienced service personnel in the region with a strong track record in the yachting industry. Joining Simpson Marine in 2020, Marko heads up the Hong Kong Service Sanlorenzo team comprised of technicians, captains and support staff.
Along with extensive technical skills, Marko’s contacts throughout the region and also in Italy makes Marko a perfect match for demanding Sanlorenzo yacht owners requiring round-the-clock support, often in far-off places.
Marko is based in Hong Kong to support Sanlorenzo new and pre-owned yacht owners throughout providing them with professional assistance in all technical and operational aspects.
Richard is a senior technician at Simpson Marine with 50 years of experience in the yachting industry. A New Zealand boat builder with advanced trade qualifications, Richard has extensive experience in building boats and systems installations. He holds certifications in trade and advanced ship, yacht and boat building, as well as Coastal Skipper and Oceans Navigation. Additionally, Richard speaks fluent English and Mandarin, enhancing his ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of clients.
A veteran sailor, Richard enjoys sailing on his own Bavaria 44 sailing yacht. His goal is to make vessel service and maintenance an enjoyable experience for owners.
Shaun joined Simpson Marine in late 2024, bringing with him seven years of specialised experience in the yachting industry. Prior to this, he worked at a marine electrical engineering company, where he serviced a variety of marine-based electrical brands. At Simpson Marine, SShaun leads the service technicians in aftersales service, inspects new delivery yachts, and performs necessary repairs and upgrades.
As a New Zealand-qualified electrician with 18 years of experience, Shaun combines technical expertise with a passion yachting. Outside of work, he enjoys snowboarding, scuba diving, and solving logic puzzles. Shaun’s professional goal is to transition into a service manager or surveyor role, where he can further leverage his extensive knowledge and leadership skills.
Kent has been with Simpson Marine for nearly two years, following his experience as a junior technician at a local marine mechanic shop. With Kent’s dedication to maintaining high client satisfaction and providing after-sales support, he has quickly become a crucial member of the Service team, supporting Sanlorenzo clients on their before and aftersales services.
He holds a Grade 2 Pleasure Vessel Operator license and is currently studying for his Grade 1 license. Outside of work, Kent enjoys bouldering and long-distance running.
Kevin has been with Simpson Marine for three years, bringing six years of industry experience. He has completed the Sanlorenzo Yachts training, specialising in yacht electrical systems, including inspection, testing, repair, and modification. Kevin is also entrusted with ensuring a safe working environment for the team.
Outside of work, he enjoys going to the gym and is knowledgeable in bodybuilding. Kevin aims to further enhance his expertise by learning more about mechanical and electrical skills.
Joven Arnesto is a highly experienced fleet captain with nearly three years at Simpson Marine and 13 years in the yachting industry. His primary responsibility is to ensure the safety and efficiency of his vessel, crew, and passengers. Joven holds extensive certifications, including a Local Hong Kong License Grade 1, BSMT, Officer in Charge of Navigational Watch, ECDIS, STCW, and MARPOL. His leadership and dedication to maintaining the highest standards of safety and service make him an invaluable asset to the team.
Outside of work, Joven enjoys travelling and fishing, continually seeking to expand his knowledge and experience in the field.
Carol is a seasoned professional with over 18 years of experience in the yachting industry. Carol’s expertise lies in a full range of office management and secretary duties for the Hong Kong Service Department and also assisted overseas offices, such as China, Taiwan, Singapore and Thailand. She communicates with local and overseas manufacturers and suppliers to facilitate routine operations and ensure all yachts receive the most appropriate service and maintenance support.
Outside of work, Carol enjoys hiking, swimming, and soap making. Her commitment to staying updated with industry trends ensures she continues to provide exceptional support to the team.
With over a decade of experience at Simpson Marine, Cherry excels in managing enquiries and overseeing the entire client journey. Her extensive background in the yachting industry and her Operator Grade 2 license have made her an invaluable member of the team, ensuring each client’s experience is exceptional.
