Beneteau Presents Strong Fleet and Premieres Oceanis 37.1 and Antares 12 in Cannes

Cannes Yachting Festival, Europe’s famous in-water boat show and the world’s number one show for large sailing boats, is the perfect platform for Beneteau to showcase their latest yacht models and newest innovations. Furthermore, Beneteau used the opportunity to showcase the world premieres of the sailing yacht Oceanis 37.1 and motorboat Antares 12. In addition, the shipyard also relaunched the flagship of the Flyer ranger, the Flyer 10 – Pilot Edition.

Oceanis 37.1 – A Legacy of Harmony

The Oceanis 37.1, the latest addition to the Oceanis Cruisers family, builds on the innovations of its seven-generation predecessors. This marks the eighth model introduced since 2017, upholding the signature qualities of the line while prioritising eco-friendly sailing practices.

Outdoors, the design focuses on openness, notably eliminating back stays, a successful feature from the Oceanis 30.1 and Oceanis 34.1. The Oceanis 37.1 boasts generous double spreaders, ensuring exceptional performance.

For ease of handling, even with a small crew, all rigging is centralised at the two aft winches, with only the halyards located around the coachroof. The starboard helm console houses all instruments, including a 7-inch plotter.

The hull’s design incorporates a flared shape with a rib, enhancing underwater dynamics, stability, rigidity, and weight distribution while maximising interior space in the bow area.

The saloon impresses with its spaciousness, rivaling that of a 40-footer. It features a sofa for relaxation and a comfortable six-person table, offset to port and adjacent to the lengthwise galley.

The forward cabin offers breathtaking views across the horizon through two large portholes integrated into the hull side. In the two-bathroom version, a generously sized bed is positioned along the starboard hull.

Stern comfort is optimised, with the standard version featuring a king-size double bed and convenient access to a sizable sail locker from both inside and outside.

Antares 12 – The New Family Cruising Star

Beneteau Antares 12

The new Antares flagship, the Antares 12, honours its lineage while advancing in equipment, comfort, space, and style. With a modern design, it retains the line’s 45-year legacy. Hull windows and a distinctive hard top meld seamlessly, flooding the interior with light.

This vessel boasts three outdoor lounges: a cockpit, a forward sun pad, and a spacious flybridge with a corner sofa and fully equipped galley. It’s distinguished by its premium materials and generous interiors. The wheelhouse serves as a central living space with panoramic ocean views.

A well-appointed galley allows culinary creativity, while the lounge with facing seats is ideal for socialising. Indirect lighting and elegant furnishings create a serene atmosphere.

Privacy is maintained with a bright owner’s cabin and ensuite bathroom, as well as a VIP guest cabin. A versatile third cabin serves as a single or double berth or extra storage. The convertible salon in the wheelhouse can accommodate up to eight for a pleasant night on board.

The Antares 12 epitomises the line’s history while embracing modernity, making it a versatile and elegant choice for families and boating enthusiasts.

Flyer 10 – Discover the Pilot Edition

Beneteau FLYER9 SPACEDECK

With its eye-catching design, featuring taut lines and a full-width windshield with side panels, the Flyer 10 is as attractive as it is functional. The helm station accommodates four passengers, with two bolster seats by the console and a double seat on the port side. The cockpit is versatile, with foot-rest seats and a rear bench that transforms into a generous sunbathing area overlooking the swim platform.

Introducing the “smart walkaround” concept, the Flyer 10 enhances movement and safety with its unique single port walkway. This design increases deck space, creating a roomy sunbathing area and an unmatched cabin space.

Blurring the lines between sport cruiser and dayboat, the Flyer 10 provides exceptional living quarters. With two double berths in a saloon cabin and mid-cabin, extended stays on board are extremely comfortable. The vessel offers a well-appointed shower room with a separate head, plus ample storage at the stairway’s base. Two elongated hull windows fill the interior with natural light.
