Fairline Unveils Two New 2024 Premieres at boot Düsseldorf, Squadron 58 Awarded Best Flybridge Motoryacht up to 60ft

Fairline, the British luxury yacht manufacturer, unveiled two new models at the 2024 boot Düsseldorf, the largest yacht and watersports show in the world, held between 20-28th January at the Messe in Düsseldorf, Germany. Fairline staged the world premiere of the highly anticipated all-new Targa 40, along with the European debut of the new double-balcony Squadron 58.

Visitors to the Fairline stand had the opportunity to get on board the two brand-new models as the company continued to draw attention to its cutting-edge designs and game-changing product development.

Targa 40: Beautifully Proportioned and Ergonomic Design for a Stunning On-Board Experience

The Targa 40 is an upgraded version of the Targa 38 which has been elevated for the 21st century with a landmark power-down beach club balcony to starboard. It embraces a bold exterior design direction, delivering a sophisticated and modern, yet sporty style.

Its open cockpit offers a hardtop and electric canvas sunroof, opening up the whole main deck. The Targa 40 also features extensive glazing, as seen across the Fairline range, which floods the interior with natural light and provides breathtaking uninterrupted views of the water.

Squadron 58: Innovative Double Beach Club Balconies Offer Direct Sea Access

The Squadron 58 debuted at the Southampton International Boat Show in September and is the first yacht under 80ft to boast large hydraulically powered balconies on both sides and an innovative bathing platform that doubles in size. The yacht exemplifies the latest in Fairline’s innovative designs, offering flexible modular seating in the cockpit complemented with a glass transom to enhance the connection to the water and ensure unobstructed views of the seascape.

A notable recognition for this innovative model was the Award for “Best Motoryacht up to 60ft” organized by the industry’s most respected British magazine, Motorboat & Yachting on the occasion of the Dusseldorf boat show.

“The stern arrangement in the Squadron 58 is a true game-changer. It features a cockpit with a glazed transom, modular furniture, twin drop-down terraces and a fold-out bar with a pair of stools that can be relocated to the port side. Things are equally enticing on the inside. The playful integration of angles transforms the ambiance of the new 58, creating quietly diverting points of interest that its competitors simply don’t possess”, stated the jury of the Motorboat Awards.

Fairline also showcased the Targa 45 OPEN, Targa 45 GT and the Phantom 65 alongside the debuts. Fairline’s Sales Director, James Powell said: “We’re delighted to bring two debuts to boot Düsseldorf this year, with the Targa 40 representing a major milestone in our new model development programme. There was a lot of excitement around this yacht, so we were looking forward to visitors finally having the opportunity to see it for themselves. The Squadron 58 was incredibly well received at the Southampton International Boat Show, and we were thrilled to bring this to our European customers.”
