Rafael Nadal visits Monte Carlo Yachts in Cannes, and opens up on the experience with his own MCY 76

Cannes Yachting Festival is a “must attend” show for serious yacht buyers from Europe and worldwide. It comes first in an annual series of international boat shows and always presents an impressive fleet of new and current yachts on display. This year 630 yachts were showcased so each taste and budget could be satisfied. World famous tennis player Rafael Nadal was one of these buyers three years ago when he discovered something unique and different that caught his attention and made him buy his dream yacht, which is his Monte Carlo Yachts 76 BEETHOVEN, cruising around the Balearics where the sportsman relaxes after challenging tournaments.

Not only did Rafael Nadal allow the shipyard to exhibit his yacht last year, but also attended their Annual Cocktail Reception in Cannes, where he was greeted by Carla Demaria, President of Monte Carlo Yachts and Fabrizio Irrarera, Managing Director aboard the new Monte Carlo Yachts 96 and treated to a private tour of MCY’s three largest models including the MCY105, MCY96 and MCY86.

Nadal graciously posed for photos with the fans at the show, and enjoyed MCY’s hospitality and the events relaxed atmosphere. Who knows, maybe he will upgrade his 76 to the new MCY96 one day, as many owners do with their yachts. Let’s wait for the good news sometime soon!
