The ClubSwan 36 is a modern and aggressively styled high-performance sailing yacht. It has a futuristic and innovative design, while the detailed hydrodynamic and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) studies of Juan Kouyoumdjan ensure it is one of the most spectacular One Design racing yachts.
Designed to follow the One Design class rules, the ClubSwan 36 is intended to be sailed by a crew of seven individuals, including three professional crew members. It is a performance yacht that enables amateur sailors to achieve exceptional performance at competitive levels.
This all-out high-performance racing yacht is meticulously optimised for speed and performance. Collaborating with Juan Kouyoumdjan on the ClubSwan 36 were Giovanni Belgrano and Hervé Devaux, who oversaw the engineering and rig, respectively.
With the combination of fast lines, a modern separated fin keel and skeg hung rudder, and a fully fitted interior, the ClubSwan 36 represented one of the very first production racers. The success of the model has been incredible, with more than 90 delivered in the first three years, and many title wins.
This latest iteration of the ClubSwan 36 is more innovative and advanced than ever before. It is also one of the competing divisions in the annual Swan Regional Series, which has become one of the leading One Design events of the year.
The ClubSwan 36 is designed for a strict purpose: high-performance, adrenaline-fuelled racing. Nautor Swan brought together a world-class team to outline the ClubSwan 36, with leading experts from their respective fields designing the fastest and most efficient sailing yacht that’s also safe and impeccable to handle. The results are radical.
Nautor Swan has created a performance yacht that is not only fast but also simple and uncomplicated to sail. The deck is uncluttered and ergonomic, while the winches and runners are functional and precisely placed. The ClubSwan 36 also features foiling capabilities.
With every inch optimised for performance, there is understandably little room for comfort. Instead of an interior in the typical Swan tradition, it has a protected shelter that provides sufficient room to fit a pair of pilot berths for offshore racing or deliveries.
