Swan 65

The Swan 65 is a high-performance bluewater cruiser with space for a permanent crew. It has remained a permanent fixture in the Nautor Swan fleet, with deliveries dating back to the 1970s. Germán Frers redesigned this classic sailing yacht, incorporating many modern amenities and the same commitment to livable space as her larger sister, the Swan 78.

The space offered by the Swan 65 makes her a joy for ocean cruising. She is elegant, graceful and a pleasure to sail shorthanded and at great distances. Great attention was paid to onboard comfort and interior designer Heini Gustafsson opted for rich materials, such as European Oak.

The Swan 65 offers accommodation for six guests and the orientation can either have the owner’s suite forward or aft. This is a stunning sailing yacht, with outstanding seakeeping capabilities and the space to make any journey an unforgettable one.

Key Features

It was the Swan 65 that put Nautor Swan on the map, with one of the first units claiming victory in the first-ever Whitbread Round the World Race in 1973/1974. Fifty years on, the Swan 65 has evolved greatly blending the tradition of sailing with modern-day comforts. Today’s Swan 65 also offers substantially more living space.

The Swan 65 carries all the hallmarks of a contemporary luxury bluewater cruiser. Superbly comfortable, well-balanced and optimised for long-distance sailing. The medium light displacement hull is powerful and beamy and has a nice motion at sea. Uncluttered deck spaces and plenty of al fresco social space invite guests to get involved with the sailing and spend time out up top.

A very generous five-metre saloon with a raised panoramic living area with dining to port and a lounge to starboard await guests below deck. There is also a large C-shaped galley that’s sociable and easy to prepare and cook food. Interior designer Heini Gustafsson has presented the Swan 65 with a large master cabin, either forward or aft, and a further two guest cabins. There are two solutions for crew quarters: at the bow, or forward of the galley.

The Swan 65 is offered with either an open or sporting configuration, with different on-deck seating configurations. As typical with Nautor Swan sailing yachts, the Swan 65 has plenty of options available.
